Mike is originally from Richmond, In although he has lived in nine different states, most of those while serving full time in the US Army as a paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne Division.  Mike has attended a Wesleyan Church since the age of 12.  It was at Indiana Central District Youth Camp in Frankfort, IN where Mike gave his heart to the Lord in a youth service at the age of 13.  In 1990 during Impact '90, the Wesleyan International Youth Convention in Cincinnati, OH, Mike came forward during an alter call and felt a definite call on his life into full time Christian service.

After three years active duty in the US Army, Mike enrolled at Indiana Wesleyan University, where he received his B. S. Degree in Christian Ministries with a minor in Youth and Missions.  While at IWU Mike met the love of his life and his best friend, Kristen.  Mike and Kristen were married in August of 2000.  Kristen compliments Mike in their ministry together with her gift of Music.  Kristen has a B. S. Degree in Church Music and Applied Voice.  Mike loves spending time with his wife and two kids Tymothy (2002) and Alexandria (2005).

Mike is an avid bowler and a lover of all things sports.  Mike loves to read and usually reads about 3-4 books a month.  Mike uses real life experiences, a complete passion for living the gospel out loud, and the truth of God's Word to reach out to today's youth.
